Laura Sullivan

Agent Laura Sullivan is a petite yet feisty redheaded empath. She was placed as a kindergarten teacher at Encantado Elementary School to investigate the strange disappearances of local children and the sudden disappearance of the agent placed there prior to her.  Her abilities are growing, but she can't conceive of anything better than being able to feel other's emotions.  She has warned Ricky and others, that if a person can feel something, they can also manipulate it.

She was recruited by the agency as a teenager after her tragic breakup with Ricardo "Ricky" Santisevan, Jr., who was the school's bus driver at the time.  They had been framed, and he broke up with her because he believed she lied about their relationship because she never loved him.  The truth was she lied to save him from going to jail.

Upon returning to Encantado, she is ordered to reconnect with him to help discover who is behind the disappearances.  Part of her is reluctant because of her personal feelings and not wanting to put him in harm's way, and another part wants to know what he knows and why he seems so important to her boss, Murphy.  While it's tense at first, they are able to work past their issues, and work collaboratively on her mission.

Despite her loyalty to Murphy, she still questions him at times but still follows his orders.
